How online stomach bug care works

Many stomach bugs are viral and improve with fluids, rest, and supportive care. The goals are controlling the worst symptoms, staying hydrated, and catching the warning signs that mean something more.

  • A practical hydration and recovery plan, including what to eat and when
  • Clear guidance on the warning signs that should change the plan

Billed self-pay

$52 is our same-day discount: pay on the day of your visit and that flat rate is all you pay. If you choose to be billed instead of using the same-day discount, the visit is billed at $150, never both. Includes 48–72 hour follow-up care. HSA/FSA and most major insurance plans accepted.

Know when to go in

When in-person care is the safer choice

For emergencies, call 911. If you have severe or urgent symptoms that may need in-person care, go to your local urgent care or emergency department. Examples include:

  • Signs of dehydration: very dark urine, dizziness, dry mouth, little urination
  • Blood in vomit or stool
  • Severe or localized abdominal pain
  • A high fever
  • Symptoms lasting more than 48–72 hours without improvement
  • Severe symptoms in infants, older adults, or during pregnancy

These are examples, not a complete list. If your provider determines that telehealth isn't the right level of care for your symptoms and sends you for in-person evaluation, you won't be charged for the TPH visit.
