Treatment

How online cold and flu care works

Most respiratory illnesses are managed with the right supportive care. For flu and COVID-19, prescription antivirals can shorten the illness when started early in the right patients.

  • A licensed Tennessee provider reviews your symptoms, timing, and risk factors
  • Antiviral medications for flu or COVID-19 when appropriate. Some antiviral treatments work best when started early, so timing can matter
  • A supportive-care plan that targets your worst symptoms
  • Work and school notes included, plus 48–72 hour follow-up care

Billed self-pay

$52 is our same-day discount: pay on the day of your visit and that flat rate is all you pay. If you choose to be billed instead of using the same-day discount, the visit is billed at $150, never both. Includes 48–72 hour follow-up care. HSA/FSA and most major insurance plans accepted.

Know when to go in

When in-person care is the safer choice

For emergencies, call 911. If you have severe or urgent symptoms that may need in-person care, go to your local urgent care or emergency department. Examples include:

  • Trouble breathing or shortness of breath
  • Chest pain or pressure
  • Confusion or unusual drowsiness
  • Signs of dehydration
  • Symptoms that improved and then came back worse
  • Severe symptoms in infants, during pregnancy, or with serious chronic conditions

These are examples, not a complete list. If your provider determines that telehealth isn't the right level of care for your symptoms and sends you for in-person evaluation, you won't be charged for the TPH visit.
